Skills Required and Job Description:
MOI:- Telephonic + Skype Essential Duties/Responsibilities: . Primary support person to NRG timekeepers using ADP's e-Time Timekeeping System. . Review missing time reports and contact employee/time keeper. . Processes SAP biweekly payroll though a payroll process model. . Experience working with ADP Standalone Payroll Services which include Garnishment, Wage Payment, Tax, Unemployment and Employment Verification Services. . Provides excellent customer service for employees, timekeepers, and HR business partners, . Answer payroll hotline and monitors hrpayroll@nrgenergy.com for employee issues and prepares daily triage list for prioritizing issues. Resolves employee issues. . Work with employees to resolve overpayments. . Processes off-cycle checks to resolve pay issues as directed by payroll manager. . Post the payrolls to General Ledger and Third Party. . Update payroll-related master data in SAP. . Review Daily change report for errors. . Process all returned Direct Deposits. . Reconcile union dues checks with payroll reports before distribution and submit reports electronically. . Assist in payroll configuration testing. . Process stock options as necessary. . Assist with year-end activities. . Assist team members as necessary. Education: High school diploma required. Associates or Bachelors degree is strongly preferred. CPP credentials is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 3 years current payroll experience on the SAP platform in a multi-state payroll environment is required. No candidates without SAP experience will be considered. A minimum of 3 years' experience supporting e-Time is required as well as a strong knowledge of multi-state rules and regulations. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: . Ability work in a fast-pace environment where change is frequent. . Must work effectively in a team environment and be able to come to the assistance of others. . Proven initiative and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly. . Strong customer services skills are must. . Demonstrated analytical ability is a requirement. . Strong problem solving skills . Strong PC skills include Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook, and a working knowledge of SAP payroll. Intermediate Excel skills are a requirement. . Must have the ability to take ownership of work and look for ways to improve processes. . Strong attention to detail. . Must be able to multi-task and handle confidential information in a professional manner. . Experience processing garnishments and taxes is a plus. |
