Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: - Telephonic + Face 2 Face Description:- Candidates will be responsible for development of capital market applications supporting the fixed income and derivative trading businesses within a development team for the Global Funding and Investments Technology organization within Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. Candidate will join a strong team to deliver complete spectrum of technology solutions to a Capital Markets business with the Data Warehouse being one key component. We are looking for candidates who:- Have a strong object oriented software development background in Java, C#, or Python with strong database skills. Are multi-skilled and able to work on various assignments in a Capital Markets Trading/Reporting environment. Can build Python (Object oriented) based processes to load intraday and end of day trading data into a real-time Dimensional Data Warehouse. Have hands on/in-depth knowledge of fixed income, interest rate and/or FX products and their trade lifecycle. Are willing to learn other technologies as needed and deliver in a fast paced agile environment Required Skills & Experience:- A minimum of 7 years object oriented software development experience, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years in capital markets or trading environment. Strong knowledge of Java, C# or Python programming Strong knowledge of databases and SQL – preferably Oracle database Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands Proven experience working in an agile development environment where an individual works directly with business customers to develop solutions Nice to have: Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Datastage, SSIS etc Experience with VB programming, VB or VBA (Excel) scripting Knowledge of star schema design and data warehousing Candidates who have experience with Capital Markets products (Fixed Income securities, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Spot/Fwd/Swap, exchange-traded futures & options), trading systems and environments, and Front and Middle office processes in a trading scheduling tool environment are much preferred Experience with Fixed Income analytics Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, especially Agile/XP methodologies Hands on experience in Perl Proficiency with Unix/Linux scripting languages Knowledge of Autosys job
