This person will install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain SQL Server database systems.
Primary Duties:
· Design and develop ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
· Design and develop Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
· Perform requirements gathering and analysis working closely with business owners and other development team members.
· Ensure standardization of SQL coding practices and adherence to coding standards, change control, and SQL best practices.
· Performs problem resolution and root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive techniques.
Skills and abilities:
· 5+ years of practical experience with SQL Server (2005, 2008) in a large scale corporate enterprise.
· Demonstrated expertise in production control and change management methodologies.
· Expert T-SQL skills and the ability to create complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined function, views, and other database objects.
· Expert understanding of relational database principles, practices, and theories.
· Ability to create complex MDX Queries.
