Senior .Net Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job Description:

The team currently has a .NET Architect and several .NET developers both contract and full-time employees. They are looking for someone who has the design experience with the specific tools including WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), Having a development background in C# or Visual Basic is a plus but is not required.
Needs to have a solid background with designing rich client desktop applications.

1. Client architecture and 2. WPF in MVVM.


Skills:
C#/.Net 3.5
Rich Client development and WPF and the MVVM pattern
Rich Client Architecture
Asynchronous programming
NUnit and NMock
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile

Optional skills:
WCF
Web Services

Required tools:
MS Visual studio 2008 and/or 2010
TFS 2010
Infragistics for WPF (not mandatory, but very nice to have)
