Senior Sharepoint developer

Location: Newark, NJ. 

6months +

 

Note: Points marked in bold are important

 

Must have more than 1 year of experience with SharePoint 2010 and the candidate must be able to perform the role under no supervision. They are looking for a senior person who can support a lead role.

 

The candidate must have STRONG SharePoint 2010 experience.  The candidate must be able to understand requirements and translate that into a SharePoint Design.  Once approved, they will also need to be able and willing to do the full development of the application.

 

Required Skills: 

• 5 + years of extensive experience following Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.  
• Experience with an interactive development environment.
• Technical understanding of features and functions of SharePoint. 
• Experience with SharePoint workflow functionality
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment
• Demonstrated ability writing clear and concise technical documentation.
• Design, develop and implement new  SharePoint applications to accommodate changes in business needs
• Translate functional designs into technical designs
• Prepare and maintain technical design documentation for changes and projects
• Investigate the impact of implementations
• Participate and conduct unit testing of development and changes of global systems based on technical and functional specifications
• Participate in team meetings
• SharePoint Object Model------------------this is most important
