Job Title: SQL SERVER Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6 Months Contract + Extendable
Job Description:
Position Overview:
This position will maintain and support websites, web services, desktop applications, SQL server databases and file import processes for the Work Flow Manager and Task Manager Applications used within Strategic
Acquisition Channels (SAC) and multiple Verizon systems. Develop multiple high-exposure projects simultaneously, while ensuring quality products and initiative releases in required timelines. Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Ø Full cycle software design/development/testing, systems maintenance and production support.
Ø Development and maintenance of MS SharePoint
Ø Create, develop, and manage multiple SQL databases.
Ø Manage data feeds from several internal and external sources.
Ø Create end-product reports in Reporting Services and excel.
Ø Resolve any issue encountered for full product support along with prompt accurate communication.
Required Skills:
Expertise and extensive experience in dynamic SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, user defined functions, normalization including:
Ø SQL Server 2000-2005 Stored Procedure Development (3 Years Experience)
Ø SQL Server 2000-2005 Administration (2 Years Experience)
Must have a solid background of full life-cycle design, implementation, backup, support and integration with front end applications, and work process automation.
Ø Solid knowledge in VB/VBA and MS Access.
Ø Technical expertise in systems analysis, application design, prototyping and development, systems integration, and implementation. (3 Years Experience)
Ø HTML/JavaScript (3 Years Experience)
Ø Web Service development in C# (2 years experience)
Ø ADO.NET utilizing C# version 1.1 and 2.0 development (3 years experience)
Ø ASP.NET utilizing C# version 1.1 and 2.0 development (3 years experience)
Ø C# version 1.1 and 2.0 development (3 years experience)
Ø IIS Administration (2 Years Experience)
Ø Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and Access are a must. (3 years experience)
Ø Capable of managing responsibilities independently.
Ø Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
Ø SQL Server Replication
Ø SQL Server Log Shipping
Ø Reporting Services development skills
Ø SSIS development and management experience
Ø Experience migrating systems to a .NET environment.
