Description:

UI/HTML Front end developer required for coding and Implementation for a portal web application

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Create HTML/CSS templates for developers based on Photoshop layouts

·         Help developers implement HTML/CSS templates

·         Perform unit testing of the code

·         Support QA testing and fix assigned HTML/CSS/JS bugs

·         Write JavaScript for custom interactive widgets

·         Support cross browser/platforms

·         Ajax design and development

·         Execute UI DESIGNERS visual fixes based on reviews

Required Skills and/or Experience:

·         Advanced HTML/CSS coding abilities - must be comfortable writing modern table-less markup

·         Ability to execute pixel perfect templates – must be very detail oriented

·         Technical enough to work in and maintain a local JAVA environment

·         Ability to independently trouble shoot bugs and help other developers do so

·         Familiar with modern CSS technologies like PIE and SASS

·         Strong knowledge (3+ years' experience) of JavaScript and jQuery

Personality Attributes/soft skills:

·         Self-assured, confident and self-directed

·         Ability to communicate effectively with team members, including QA and BA resources

·         Articulate team player

·         Good presentation skills (e.g. comfortable performing regular demos of system functionality for business stakeholders)

                                                                                                                                        

Nice to Have Skills:

·         Experience developing POS or retail websites

·         Retail and/or Telecom environment experience

·         Background working on Agile development teams using Scrum and XP
