MOI:- Telephonic Hire Only Need Only USC, GC Summary: We are looking for an energetic team player who can provide hands-on technical expertise as an SAP BASIS administrator. This individual works within our SAP Center of Excellence and interfaces with the business or functional teams and technical ABAP resources. The SAP BASIS administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring and proactively improving system stability. This individual will work closely with our data center support team on a daily basis during both normal business hours and off hours. Administration Specialists will cross train on all the ERP platforms and closely associated applications (bolt-on applications). The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of the ERP software and database. They will also be responsible for working with the project team on Environment Migration and supporting all development activities. All Systems Primary responsibilities: ERP Installation Planning ERP Software Installation, Support Packs, and UpgradesPerformance Monitoring PI and ABAP.Capacity PlanningSAP printer set-up and configuration. Documentation of processes and procedures and updating of such documents on regular basis. Keep up to date with industry technology and advice on skill gaps and approaches. Demonstrate the ability to accurately analyze information and make sound recommendations and decisions as required. Identifies and tracks issues, risks and action items following sound project management skills Disaster Recovery Plan support Problem resolution during development, rollout and production support Utilizing Change Management to make changes Moving objects between environments within ERP system Expected to deliver results within given time frames, ensuring that the standard of your work is maintained. You will be expected to document your work in line with team standards. Ensure that the integrity of the systems is maintained. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of production SAP Basis experience: SAP Enterprise Portal, ECC, BI, Solution Manager, GRC Solid experience in a SAP basis role covering support, maintenance and upgrading a medium to large size SAP environment. Proven analytical and problem solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend / implement effective solutions Ability to work collaboratively across project teams Broad technical and IT knowledge Able to work directly with developers and end users under stressful situations Ability to solve complex application problems through research and technical detective work. Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences Ability to work off hours when required to perform maintenance activities as required Experience with Oracle databases. A self starter with the ability to work to tight timescales and be prepared to work occasional overtime. Communicate effectively with customers, and work well under pressure. Need to be conscientious and see problems through to a completion with a high emphasis on problem ownership. Able to organize their time effectively on a daily and weekly basis with a high emphasis on efficient self time management; reporting problems and requesting assistance as required.
