Title: QA Tester
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 12 months + (Contract with potential for extension)
Max Rate: $50 hr C2C
Top Desired Skills: Quality Center , ALM, Jira, Agile, Selenium
Job Description:
The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy. This tester will be supporting an Ecommerce project. The tester is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The tester will be primarily performing manual testing on both new feature enhancements and regression.
Desired Experience:
· 5+ years of quality assurance testing experience
· Experience with Agile/ Scrum methodology
· Experience using Quality Center/ ALM for test case management
· Experience with Jira for defect tracking
· Integration testing and end-to-end testing experience
· Strong understanding of test case creation and execution concepts and best practices
· Experience testing system integrations/end to end scenarios
· Some automated testing experience. (An ideal candidate will have 6+ months of experience with Selenium)
· Experience using T- SQL or SQL for database validation
Nice to have:
· Prefer Agile be utilized in the current/most recent project
· Prefer Selenium/Java automation experience be utilized in the current/most recent project (This is a manual testing position, but would like a resource with at least 6 months of automated (selenium) testing experinece
· Prefer experience validating XML responses from web services
