Position Description:
The Oracle Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components for the PMO project to which they are assigned. The Developer will be involved in the technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The Developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The Developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Current tools and technologies include:
Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Developer, ETL concepts and technologies
· Proven success developing complex Oracle packages, procedures, and functions associated with large scale projects
· 3+ years of experience with SQL
· Ability to understand complex and large volumes of data and the techniques used to write SQL to access this
· A solid understanding and appreciation for SDLC and Agile tools, processes, and methodology
· Ability to interact well in a team environnent
· Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the contraints of clients' timelines and budgets.
· Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
· A solid understanding and appreciation for Agile and SDLC tools, processes, and methodology.
· Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
