We are building fast, care deeply about our customers, and strive to be at the forefront of innovation within the world of web and mobile commerce.  You will be responsible for designing, developing and operating RESTful web services, leveraging automated infrastructure in a modern cloud environment and being an end-to-end owner as we continue to grow our technology and business.   The ideal candidate will have:  - 5+ years of overall software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of core Java back-end technologies.  - Amazon Web Services (AWS) a must   - Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to create technical specifications, debate technical trade offs, and work in an agile environment.  - A strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, and their performance characteristics  - Proficiency in working and developing on Linux  - Experience responding to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues and ad-hoc questions  - Experience with automated testing (TDD, Mocking, Unit/Functional/Integration)  - Experience with continuous integration and development tools like Git, Maven, CodeShip, CodeDeploy, Jira, Confluence, etc.  - Experience and exposure to DevOps is a bonus: containerization, consensus-building, and self-scaling systems  - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent professional experience About:  The Seattle-based Sears Home Services team is working to radically improve the consumer experience of home repair, remodeling, and maintenance by utilizing the power of technology, massive data sets, and a nationwide service provider network.
