Role : SQL DBA/Developer
Location: Washington DC
Length: 3-6month +
Rate: $50-52/hr MAX
Locals from VA/DC/MD only
F2F required
Why the need: The intent of this person joining the team is to assist with loading files into the AFT centralized database (CDB) since they have an increase in the number of membership and related files that they are required to process.
What they will be doing:
- assisting with loading the increase in membership related files into the Centralized Database CDB)
- helping with stored procedures
- use stored procedures on the SQL DBA/Programmer side to work with the .Net code on the Microsoft web developer side or web services for Drupal integration with the CDB on the Drupal development side
- development and maintenance of SQL scripts
Must Haves:
- expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- expertise in data integration tools in SQL Server, would be a good technical fit,
- along with a strong knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- Equally important is the ability to manage and prioritize projects/tasks and strong/effective communications skills
About the environment:
· currently using SQL Server 2005 and 2008, but we plan to migrate to SQL Server 2014 within the next 30-60 days
