JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: QA Tester
Location: New York City, NY (Face to Face Required)
Duration: long term
Job Responsibilities:
· Strong Qualitative Test Plan, Test Case documentation experience on large complex projects involving complex Use Cases.
· Ability to be very hands on with SQL to perform data back-end testing.
· Hands on with Unix and/or other scripting languages to be able to manipulate files/run scripts and write automation routines.
· Deep understanding of at least any one area within the trade lifecycle – this is not mandatory but highly desired. If Candidate does not possess this, they must be best in class in their respective discipline and be an outstanding proven QA analyst.
· Experience working in high pressure execution teams, working closely with Bas and Developers to delivery Integration Testing, Regression Testing and UAT cycles.
· Working on large and complex multi function applications with hands on experience building complex test cases in Quality Center and maintaining traceability to the functional use cases.
· Experience using automation tools.
· Experience with TOAD, Rapid SQL, Oracle.
· Experience writing test strategy documents.
· Experience in doing regression testing, full volume testing, performance testing, smoke testing, black box testing.
