Sr. ETL Informatica developer with Teradata Experience

Location: Northeast PA

Duration: 6 months

 

This person needs to have experience working with ETL Informatica and have at least four years of experience. This candidate also needs to have Teradata experience since that is the new data warehouse they have decided to build.

 

Our client is looking for two senior level ETL Developers to join their team for contract opportunities. These resources are being brought on board to help support the implementation of a brand new data warehouse with Informatica/Teradata and business objects as a presentation layer. At current state the hospital and health plan are working with Oracle but have made the decision to convert to Informatica. At this point the health plan is at the end of life for the data warehouse and has chosen to build a whole new data warehouse with Teradata. This person will be responsible for developing extract, transforming and loading programs that move data from operational systems to a data warehouse and from a data warehouse to any subject area Data Marts. Responsibilities also include designing, coding, testing, and production installation and support of the ETL job cycle. Responsible for configuration, tuning and implementation of ETL tools for integration with applications, web services, and/or data transport utilities. Provides technical and application support for developed systems and programs. Assist in information access and database development and management. This person will be joining the team during a transition stage and will be involved with mapping the datastage jobs to the Informatica.
