Key responsibilities:
• Design, develop and support high performing UI code on .Net platform.
• Deal with other players in the software development lifecycle – PMs, BAs and testing.
• Work with the Application and Domain architects in design.
• Learn new technologies quickly.
• Develop in an iterative environment.
• Coordinate with offshore development team and provide technical leadership to them
Required Skills:
• Minimum 8 years .Net development experience
• Commercial experience with ASP.NET on Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 – C#.
• .Net 4.0 and ASP.NET MVC is highly desirable
• Min. 2 years commercial experience using one or all of Ajax, JQuery and JSON for an enterprise level
application.
• Good architectural thinking with regards to creating code that is performant, re-usable and compatible
on multiple browsers.
• Exposure to Framework based code architecture.
• Experience in developing for a Service Oriented Architecture is a plus.
• Flexibility to work on complex projects with international scope.
• Experience with Telerik RAD controls
• Integration and working knowledge of cache products like nCache is nice to have
• Experience working on high performing front end commercial internet based applications
• Experience with development of client-facing UI modules in large scale software applications is required.
• Enterprise level exposure is required – large distributed development and test teams, shared code base with multiple parallel developments.
• Experience with continuous integration and iterative development methodology is required.
• Experience in unit testing front end functionality and analyzing unit tests for code coverage, copy & paste etc.
• Team lead ability with strong communications skills. Ability to understand business drivers and balance business needs, timelines, costs and best practices.
• Experience in the UI usability domain is a plus.
