Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: Baltimore, MD (Woodlawn) area.

Duration: 24 months + for H1B candidates or six month Contract/ Temp to hire for U.S. Citizens or Green card holder.
Interview: Phone & Face to face will be required.

NOTE: In addition to the mainframe skills, strong SQL is a must. ****MUST HAVE strong SQL and work with analyst on SQL-IDR. Candidates will be given tough technical SQL questions to answer. ****

Specifications:

• Enhance and maintain the application as per the business needs
• Interaction with Stakeholders on daily basis to gather requirements
• Completion of adhoc tasks as assigned by client
• Generate project specific Reports.
• Production support, when required.
• Adhere to project processes (SDLC) and maintain project /process specific documents.

 

Primary Skills (Must have):

• BS degree plus eight years experience.
• Must have some Federal Government project experience.
• CICS, DB2, VSAM, COBOL, DB2 utilities
• JCL
• REXX, z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SQL-IDR

 

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

• Work experience in Government Healthcare domain
• Easytrieve, Stored procedures
• Any Change control tool such as Endeavor/ ChangeMan

 

***Prefer U.S. Citizens or Green cardholders. H1B's are okay with outstanding language skills. Initial phone interview and candidates will be required to come for a face to face. Prefer candidates local to mid-Atlantic region. ****
