Senior Analyst (Outsourcing Service Consultant)
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the client Global Sourcing Office(GSO) - Strategic Sourcing team. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Sourcing teams, IT Managers and client approved vendors and partners in Information Technology and Investment Operations.
Overview of Responsibilities:
· Works as a point of contact for assigned client needs and facilitates translation of scope of work into Statement of Work (SOW) in working with involved parties. Assists with scope definition and SOW reviews, contractual reviews and any planning/transition tasks.
· Supports and coordinates all tasks required to transition projects to vendors following the outsourcing engagement model.
· Assists with transition of steady state efforts and new efforts into managed services as per established methodology and processes. Supports the GSO program manager with optimization, value alignment and consolidation of efforts where-ever there is an opportunity.
· Consolidates vendor and sourcing data from various sources, conducts feasibility studies and GAP analysis in designated areas to help build business case and recommendations for sourcing optimization. Follows established processes and supports enhancement of established models for sourcing portfolio optimization.
· Tracks offshore demand from ITG units and partners with vendors to determine next steps and action items.
· Performs vendor/product/services research and assists in vendor/product evaluation as needed.
· Supports and Coordinates RFP/competitive bidding process which may include: coordinating meetings, compiling and summarizing results, creating reports and other activities as needed.
· Coordinates risk assessment in working with Information Security team as per established processes and guidelines. Facilitates establishment of remote access as per established processes.
· Enhances GSO service catalog and helps improve processes, artifacts and program reporting to improve responsiveness to customers.
· Provides analytical support and prepares program portfolio reporting and managed services reporting. Analyzes data and makes recommendations regarding managed services usage. Performs quality checks and verifies the accuracy of managed services data. Analyzes reports to identify cost optimization opportunities and makes recommendations
· Monitors contract dates and utilizes effective processes to alert stakeholders of deadlines. Ensures SharePoint is updated with signed contract document and other processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Analyst with at least 8 years of IT, Business Analysis and entry level Project management skills. Strong technical and process skills with understanding of basic IT methodologies and terminology (Development, Maintenance, QA and Infrastructure).
2. Prior IT work experience in offshore setting with service providers.
3. Excellent communication, organization, follow-up and documentation skills.
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks on short deadlines; must be very detail oriented and open to making firm requests from other persons.
5. Motivated self-starter who functions well in a fast paced, rapidly changing and collaborative team environment.
6. Advanced user of MS Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Visio required.
7. Minimum Education Requirement Bachelor's Degree
