Role	Technical Writer
Mandatory Technical Skills	• Decipher many different types of information and arrange them in a format that clearly explains the objective. • Interact with SMEs to review design documents • Create story board for training sessions according to design documents • Identify and select instruction format (diagram, document, slides, etc.) that addresses the needs of understanding • Create technical guides and operating procedures based on instructions collected from SMEs • Standardize technical instructions using published formats
Desirable Technical Skills	• 2-4 years technical writing and technical content management experience in technology based companies (publishing technical and process documents) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio • Aesthetic sense • Strong organizational skills • Ability to track and meet multiple deadlines • Self-motivator who works well independently with little or no supervision • Attention to details and is willing to ask questions when further clarification is required • Excellent written / oral communication skills and presentation skills • Ability to clearly articulate business and technical issues with staff, peers, superiors, and outside parties (e.g. vendors, partners)
Total Experience Required	2-4 yrs
