Position: Test Manager – Telecom Domain Experience

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

JD:

 

Technical Architect/Test Manager to support an AT&T LTE project defined in the key deliverables below. This position will follow the Network Technology Development (NTD) processes and be responsible for meeting these deliverables published in the project schedule plan of record.

 

Skills

8 + years experience

 

1.     Candidate is knowledgeable in a wireless (voice, data & roaming services) and or wireline environment that includes the following:

a.     Self motivated, ability to work with and communicate in cross functional teams, as well as individual responsibility

b.     Working and coordinating with third-party vendors and partners

c.     Understands network architectural design and development processes

d.     Understands network lab and production testing

e.     Flexible, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks

f.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

g.     Knowledgeable bout 3G (UMTS) and LTE infrastructure and services

h.     Have experience planning, executing, and documenting mobility test plans

i.      Preferably, have experience working in the AT&T Mobility Labs

 

2.     Experience with supporting, implementing and testing wireless services/applications such as the following:

a.     Voice (Send & Receive calls)

b.     Messaging (SMS, MMS)

c.     Data (Web Browsing)

d.     Roaming

 

3.     Experience with the following Microsoft Office products:

1. Word – complex documents
2. Excel – detailed forecasting / budgeting models
3. PowerPoint – high-level management status
4. MS Project – complex schedule creation

 

Key Deliverables

1.     Develop lab test plans

2.     Develop lab test cases

3.     Coordinate all lab environments and activities (including troubleshooting, capture traces to determine which nodes are failing)

4.     Load Lab test cases into QC (Quality Center)

5.     Publish lab test results

6.     Develop production test plans

7.     Develop production test cases

8.     Execute production testing and provide support

9.     Publish production test results
