Position: .Java Architect
Location – Rancho Cordova, CA
Duration – 6 -12 Months
Required Skills: Architecture/Technologist experience, STRONG experience in a Lead role, Java, Spring, Hibernate, strong frontend background(JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, CSS and JS libraries like AngularJS, Node.JS, BackboneJS, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication!
Experience:10+years' total experience. 3+ years' experience as an Architect
Position Summary:
This client is looking for an Architect or Technology Specialist, someone that follows technology trends and how they apply to their business. They need to be responsible for defining the Product roadmap and creating business justifications and ROIs. Excellent communication both verbally and written is critical. Lastly the candidate needs to have a servant leader mentality in order to guide the Dev team and lead by example.
Key Job Functions:
· Executes and leads the new development, enhancement and maintenance of enterprise-class transactional systems and Web applications
· Participates in all phases of full life-cycle development of the system, including requirements analysis, software design, software implementation, testing, deployment and documentation
· Analyze functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues utilizing proprietary software and technologies
· Evaluates product change requests and takes appropriate action to make required changes
· Provides guidance to entry level engineering staff
· Conducts system analysis and development, with limited support
· Performs functional analysis and design for small to moderate projects
· Coordinates with other technical specialists, project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure timely and effective management of resources
· Develops code for modules of small to large scope
· May oversee user acceptance testing and unit testing
· Leads group discussions with peers or external groups
· Works with external vendors, when necessary
· Performs data modeling / database design work
· Writes concise and clear technical documents
· Performs other duties as may be assigned by management
