Position: SAP BPC Analyst
Location: Western Suburbs of Chicago, IL

Client is looking for a Senior SAP BPC analyst should have very strong functional background and experience in both Consolidation and Budgeting/Planning. In addition knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AA), Controlling (CCA, PCA, IO and COPA) and IFRS/GAAP reporting. The candidate must have a good understanding of the integration between FICO and BPC. Candidate will be responsible for making recommendations on design and configuration. Candidate should have experience interacting with a technical team and the business users. In addition to the day to day system support, the analyst will also be responsible for project based initiatives such as enhancements, system add-ons and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
· Be seen as an "expert" in the area of Consolidation & Budgeting and Planning. Be able to drive a business design.
· Ability to prepare, review & update project documents including Blueprint, Functional Specifications, Test Scripts and configuration specifications.
· Verify what has been done in the system based on current design document & complete the remaining items
· Experience working with BPC and disparity ERP systems
· Ability to create Requirements Traceability Matrix from design documents & Test Scenarios
· Understand integration of BPC with multiple ERP & Non-ERP systems i.e. Excel
· Detail Knowledge of:
o Acquisition Model
o Ownership Model
o Define validation rules
o Equity method eliminations - Intercompany profit elimination, Purp eliminations
o Cash Flow Model
o Currency Conversion
o IFRS Pack Entity / corporate
o Reconciliation approach.
CAPEX,OPEX, HR & SALES budgeting and planning
Qualifications:
· 5+ years in business analysis, requirements definition, and building BPC systems solutions.
· Strong knowledge of production support processes, presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills.
· At-least 2 full life cycle of BPC Implementation experience
· In depth understanding of BPC and its integration points.
· Understanding of BW concepts, writing Functional / Technical specifications, designing & implementing user exits.
· Collaborative, Customer focused and able to create visible value
