Roles & Responsibilities	·        Upgrading databases from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 environment for Verizon. ·        Back up the scripts of the existing jobs for Verizon ·        Need to make the necessary changes to existing stored procedures and create new jobs to support SQL Server 2008. ·        Replace existing third party mail application needed for all job and customer notifications ·        Test the application in SQL 2008 server for compatibility after upgrading to ensure the application works in SQL Server 2008 ·        Strong knowledge /experience in change control procedures and processes. ·        Excellent written and communication skills
