Job role: ETL TESTER - Manual

Location : Glendale, CA (Local Only)

Preferred  GC/Citizen 

Duration: Long term 

Phone  and then In- person is mandatory 

 

Required Skills:

• An integrated SDLC tool suite preferably with the Rational tool suite including: Clearquest, SVN 

• Experiences in detailed testing of large scale data warehouse that aggregates data from a large number of data sources 

• Batch scripting languages such as Flux. 

• 3+ years of Data Warehouse (i.e. Informatica, Ab Initio or any ETL Tool ) solution experience including strong SQL skills 

• Any BI exp. is a huge PLUS (Cognos, Query Studio) testing experience, including a strong understanding of business requirements 

• 2+ Web service testing experience 

 

 

Preferred Skills: 

Expertise in understanding and writing SQL 

• Demonstrated high competency in balancing multiple projects 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

• Experience in process analysis and documentation. 

• Strong organizational skills 

• Understanding of various issues tracking/resolution, scope estimation and scope management processes.
